If you’ve never tried it before, you’re missing out on a great day outside in the sun and fresh air with your loved ones. Plus, you’ll get to enjoy fresh produce straight from the farm. New Jersey has many great farms where you can pick your own produce. Simply search “farms near me” in Google for a list of options. Depending on the season, different fruits and vegetables will be available for picking. Strawberries seem to be a popular choice, and we recently went strawberry picking at Johnson’s Corner Farm in Medford, Burlington County. It’s a beautiful farm with plenty to do besides picking, including food and shopping, and play areas for the kids. You even get a fun tractor ride to the fields, adding to the authentic farm experience. We spent a few hours there and came home with a nice load of fresh strawberries, along with some other goodies.
