Officers raided the house and rescued the child unharmed. They also arrested Nwozor and later apprehended Princess Ezike. After days of intensive search, Willie was spotted and recognized by Kingsley Okeke, the manager of a local hotel who had been informed of the case. Okeke swiftly apprehended her and alerted authorities. According to witnesses, Willie and Onyeka had previously charmed the mother before taking her and her baby to a hotel. Later, a third suspect, identified as Princess, joined them. After a brief stay at the hotel, Princess and the baby’s husband and mother left, leaving Princess and the infant behind. Princess then attempted to leave with the child, claiming to be the mother’s sister, but the manager and security guards refused to allow it. Princess persisted, texting her accomplice to provide false information about the baby’s name and her relationship to the mother.
