About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Taproom Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our taproom operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and train taproom staff * Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable experience * Manage taproom inventory, including ordering, receiving, and tracking * Maintain a clean and organized taproom environment * Promote and sell Strong+Rope beers and merchandise * Work closely with the brewery team to support production and marketing initiatives
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred * 3+ years of experience in a management role in a craft brewery or taproom * Proven leadership and interpersonal skills * Excellent communication and customer service abilities * Strong knowledge of craft beer and taproom operations * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Oversee taproom operations, including staff direction and support * Manage shift schedules * Execute and maintain standard operating procedures * Create and manage taproom budget * Order inventory (beer, wine, spirits, supplies) * Drive retail sales and resolve customer concerns * Collaborate with production and sales teams * Assist with private events, marketing, and communications * Respond to email inquiries in a timely manner * Develop familiarity with beer offerings and Strong Rope Brewery * Maintain a clean and welcoming environment * Communicate clearly with staff
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
* Minimum 2 years of experience managing a taproom or bar/restaurant/event space * Strong knowledge of beer styles, history, and culture * Passionate and service-oriented personality * Excellent management skills * Friendly, enthusiastic attitude * Strong organizational and communication skills * Creative problem-solving skills * Flexible work schedule, availability in evenings and weekends * Punctual and responsible * Must be 21 years or older * Cicerone certification a plus * Knowledge of software tools (7shifts, Asana, Slack, Google Suite) a plus

Strong Rope Brewery is seeking a passionate and experienced Taproom Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the craft beer industry, exceptional customer service skills, and a proven ability to manage a high-volume taproom.
Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the taproom, including daily operations, staffing, and inventory * Provide exceptional customer service, including handling complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Train and supervise taproom staff on beer knowledge, service standards, and safety protocols * Collaborate with the brewing team to ensure beer is served at optimal quality * Monitor sales trends and provide insights to improve taproom performance * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe taproom environment * Represent the brewery at events and in the community
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred * 2+ years of experience managing a taproom or similar hospitality establishment * Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to build relationships * Strong knowledge of craft beer styles, brewing processes, and beer service * Exceptional organizational and time management skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite * Valid driver’s license * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
