This annual tradition brings hordes of costumed revelers to the iconic stadium for a night of spooky fun and friendly competition. The event, organized by the Pittsburgh Steelers, will take place on Saturday, October 29th, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to come in their most creative and elaborate Halloween costumes, as prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed individuals and teams. The scavenger hunt will consist of a series of clues hidden throughout Heinz Field. Participants must solve the clues and complete the challenges in order to unlock the final prize, which is often a highly sought-after Steelers jersey or memorabilia. In addition to the scavenger hunt, the event will feature a costume parade, live music, food trucks, and a variety of Halloween-themed activities for all ages. Attendees can also take photos with Steelers cheerleaders and the team mascot, Steely McBeam. Proceeds from the event benefit the Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Sports Medicine Institute, which provides healthcare services to Pittsburgh-area athletes. “This event is a great way for our community to come together and celebrate Halloween,” said Steelers President and CEO Art Rooney II. “We’re excited to see everyone in their costumes and to help support a great cause.” Last year’s event drew over 10,000 participants and raised $100,000 for AHN. The Steelers hope to surpass both of those numbers this year as they celebrate the 10th anniversary of the annual scavenger hunt tradition.
