We enthusiastically welcome him to the team and eagerly anticipate collaborating with him.” Sahil Panwar’s Career Highlights Hailing from Dehradun, Panwar began his professional career as a member of the Pune FC academy, where he impressed in the Subroto Cup before earning a place on the team. He eventually joined FC Pune City and made his ISL debut in January 2018. Panwar has since played for Hyderabad FC and Odisha FC, establishing himself as a dependable defender. During his 70-appearance ISL career, the left-handed Panwar has made 88 interceptions, won 230 duels, 83 aerial duels, and recovered 270 possessions. He has also represented India at the U-20 level and captained the squad at the 2017 SAFF U-18 Championship.

For the upcoming season of the Indian Super League (ISL 2024-25), Mumbai City FC confirmed the signing of 24-year-old defender Sahil Panwar on a free transfer. Sahil has signed a one-year contract, which will keep him with the club until the end of the 2024-25 season.

Sahil Panwar Career

Hailing from Dehradun, Sahil started his professional career with Pune FC academy, where he earned a spot after impressing in the Subroto Cup. During his time with the club, Sahil also captained the U-18 team. He later joined FC Pune City and made his ISL debut in January 2018. Sahil went on to play for Hyderabad FC and Odisha FC, where he established himself as a reliable defender.

In his 70-appearance ISL career, the left-handed defender has made 88 interceptions, 230 duels won, 83 aerial duels won and 270 recoveries. He has represented India at the U-20 level and captained the team at the 2017 SAFF U-18 Championship.
