Sources within the community reported that three individuals sustained injuries during the attack and are currently receiving medical attention. According to one source, “The bandits came in large numbers and attacked the community a few minutes after midnight.” The attack reportedly extended from the market area to other houses within the community. “Many people were abducted by the terrorists; about three others were injured and are being treated in a hospital,” the source said. “They also set fire to a house and two shops during their attack.” The source expressed uncertainty as to the exact number of individuals abducted and stated that the terrorists remained active in the area for several hours. Efforts to reach the police command spokesperson were unsuccessful as calls went unanswered.

A source told DAILY POST that three people who sustained injuries of varying degrees during the attack were being treated.

He explained: ‘The bandits came in large numbers and attacked the community a few minutes after midnight.

“The attack was carried out from the market to other houses in the community.

“Many people were abducted by the terrorists; about three others were injured and are being treated in a hospital. They also set fire to a house and two shops during their attack.”

He stated that the terrorists were active for hours and that he could not determine how many people had been abducted in the community.

All attempts to contact the police command spokesperson, Mansir Hasan, were unsuccessful as calls to his number were not answered.
