The Chief hailed Dr. Opoku Prempeh’s commitment and drive in executing the policy, highlighting that these qualities make him an ideal complement to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s leadership and visionary solutions. Obrempong Hima Dekyi XIV expressed his sentiments during a visit by the vice-presidential candidate to the traditional area. “Initially, we received many appeals for assistance with school fees, but now, with this enormous relief, we are no longer burdened,” the Chief stated. “We believe you possess the necessary qualities to support Dr. Bawumia, and that is why we, as Ahanta men, fully endorse you.” Dr. Opoku Prempeh expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and requested prayers and support as he and Dr. Bawumia campaign across the country to present their vision to Ghanaians. The NPP’s vice-presidential candidate was unveiled on Tuesday, July 9, and has since actively campaigned for his running mate.

The Chief commended Dr Opoku Prempeh’s dedication and energy in implementing the policy, noting that these qualities make him the ideal candidate to support Dr Bawumia’s selfless leadership and bold solutions for the future.

Obrempong Hima Dekyi XIV expressed these sentiments during a visit by the vice-presidential candidate on Wednesday, July 10, following the unveiling of Dr. Opoku Prempeh in Kumasi the day before.

“Initially, we received numerous requests from people seeking support for their wards but now, with this huge relief, we are no longer burdened. I believe you have what it takes to support Dr Bawumia and that is why we as Ahanta men are fully behind you,” he said.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and asked for prayers for him and Dr. Bawumia as they travel around the country to advocate their cause before the Ghanaian people.

The NPP vice-presidential candidate was announced on Tuesday, July 9, and has since been busy campaigning for his boss Dr. Bawumia.
