The fast food giant has announced the return of the Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with Cheese, which will be available starting July 10. The sandwich, which first appeared on McDonald’s menu in 2022, is making a comeback due to popular demand.
The Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with Cheese features a quarter-pound beef patty, two slices of American cheese, three half-strips of thick-cut Applewood Smoked bacon, three fresh Roma tomatoes, shredded lettuce and a special smoky BLT sauce, all served on a toasted sesame seed bun. According to McDonald’s, the BLT sauce is seasoned with paprika, parsley and black pepper, creating “a sweet and spicy, savory and garlicky sauce with a lingering smokiness.”
In addition to the standard Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with cheese, McDonald’s will also offer a Smoky BLT Double Quarter Pounder for those with a bigger appetite. This limited time offer is part of McDonald’s strategy to keep the menu fresh and exciting for its customers.
The announcement of the sandwich’s return comes alongside the introduction of new items to McDonald’s menu. Starting July 10, customers can also enjoy the new Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry.
