Police and Land, Search and Rescue teams have been conducting a thorough search of the area, including aerial assistance from a helicopter. Fox is described as having an average build, standing 172 cm tall with short hair. He is also known by the name Sam. Authorities are appealing to the public for information regarding Fox’s possible whereabouts. Anyone who may have observed his vehicle, a white 2013 Subaru Impreza, along Mangatere Road from Wednesday morning to Thursday afternoon is requested to contact the police. Moreover, anyone who might have encountered Fox on the Mangatere trail or possesses any knowledge that can aid in his location is urged to come forward.

A search has been launched for a man who may have gone missing in the Wairarapa bush.
Ben Fox, also known as Sam, was last seen at his home in Masterton on Wednesday morning.
His vehicle has since been found on Mangatere Valley Road, near the Mangatere Valley walking track.
Fox is of average build, 172 cm tall and has short hair.
Police and Land, Search and Rescue searched the area trying to determine if he had ended up on the track.
Today a helicopter was also deployed in the search.

Officers are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen Fox’s white 2013 Subaru Impreza on Mangatere Road between Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon, police said.
They were also keen to hear from anyone who had seen him on the Mangatere trail, or who had any information that could assist in locating him.
