In an interview, Kumar shared that the iconic scene where Sachiv Ji confronts Bhushan (Durgesh Kumar) about his persistent misbehavior drew inspiration from a widely circulated video. “There are videos of the incident available, and we based the scene on it,” said Kumar. “We’re glad it resonated with the audience.” The actor went on to describe how the scene was meticulously crafted to achieve a realistic effect. “We shot the scene in one night after multiple rehearsals,” explained Kumar. “It was choreographed well and edited in a way that it didn’t look staged on screen. We aimed to make it look chaotic and authentic.” The climax scene featured a violent brawl between Sachiv Ji and Bhushan, showcasing the frustration and pent-up emotions of the characters. Jitendra Kumar’s portrayal of Sachiv Ji’s transformation from a passive engineer to a fearless leader earned him widespread praise. “Panchayat” is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and scripted by Chandan Kumar, with production by TVF. The first season premiered on Prime Video in April 2020, receiving critical acclaim and viewer approval. The third season, released on May 28, 2024, continued the success story, further captivating audiences with its engaging plot.

In his latest interview, Jitendra Kumar revealed that the scene was inspired by a real-life incident.

Jitendra Kumar, who won hearts with the climax scene of Panchayat Season 3, told Pinkvilla, “There are videos available, but the scene inspired us to execute this scene and we are happy that we could execute the scene pasand aaya (There are videos of the incident available and we based the scene on it. We are happy that it has come out as intended and the audience has appreciated it).”

The actor further revealed how it was shot and finally edited to give it a realistic effect. Jitendra added that the scene was shot in one night and the team had rehearsed it multiple times beforehand. He further said that the sequence was choreographed well and then cut in such a way that it did not look choreographed on screen. He added that the team tried to make the scene look chaotic and avoid any issues while shooting. The climax scene featured a violent fight between Sachiv ji and Bhushan.

Deepak Kumar Mishra directed the series, which was scripted by Chandan Kumar and produced by TVF. The series, the first season of which premiered on Prime Video in April 2020, was an instant hit and received a huge response, leading to the release of a second season in 2022. The third season premiered on May 28 this year. The plot revolves around an engineering graduate who is forced to become a panchayat secretary in the fictional town of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh, due to a lack of employment opportunities. Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy and Sanvikaa reprised their roles in the popular series this year.
