On the fateful day of Thursday, Gangaiah’s wife, Vimala, a diligent farm laborer, returned home with a heart filled with trepidation. The sight that met her eyes sent shivers down her spine: her beloved husband, lifeless, suspended from the ceiling. According to Bejjur Inspector Vikram, the investigation revealed that Gangaiah had been consumed by depression stemming from his unrelenting ailment. The weight of the illness had taken its toll on his spirit, leaving him with a profound sense of hopelessness and despair. In a desperate act, Gangaiah chose to end his suffering, unaware of the immeasurable sorrow he would leave behind. His wife, shattered by the loss of her soulmate, was left to grapple with the unbearable pain of her sudden widowhood. The incident sent ripples of grief throughout the close-knit community of Kushnepalli. Neighbors and friends alike mourned the loss of a respected elder, whose life had been cut tragically short. Gangaiah (65) committed suicide by hanging at his house in Kushnepalli village in Bejjur mandal on Thursday as he was depressed over his prolonged illness.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A 65-year-old man committed suicide on Thursday due to depression over his prolonged illness in Kushnepalli village of Bejjur mandal.

Bejjur inspector Vikram said Nayini Gangaiah was found hanging in his house.

Gangaiah was upset when she was diagnosed with an illness and took drastic measures when there was no illness.

His wife Vimala, a farm labourer, returned to find her husband hanging from the ceiling of their house.
