The incident occurred at around 10:45 p.m. at the 7-Eleven store located on the 1700 block of Eastern Avenue. According to police, 27-year-old Kevin Robinson entered the store and approached the victim, 32-year-old Dwayne Brown. Robinson allegedly got into an argument with Brown, who was working the counter. The argument escalated, and Robinson pulled out a firearm and shot Brown multiple times. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses to the shooting provided police with a description of the suspect, and officers were able to locate and apprehend Robinson a short time later. He was found in possession of a firearm matching the description of the one used in the shooting. Robinson has been charged with murder in connection with Brown’s death. He is currently being held without bail pending a preliminary hearing. “This was a senseless act of violence that has left a family grieving,” said Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison. “We are committed to bringing those responsible for these heinous crimes to justice.” The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact detectives.
