The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for much of the state, including Milwaukee. Secure or bring inside any items that could be blown around by strong winds, such as patio furniture, trash cans, and decorations. * Clear snow and ice from walkways and driveways. The Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) has announced that all bus and paratransit services will be suspended starting at 5:00 PM on Thursday. Milwaukee Public Schools have announced that all schools will be closed on Friday, March 10th, due to the expected weather conditions. Residents are reminded to stay safe and follow the instructions of local officials during the storm.
