Samsung first launched the Z Flip series back in 2020, and there have been a few iterations of the flip phone since then. The company’s most recent Unpacked event showed off a bunch of new hardware, including updated versions of the foldable phones. There are plenty of reasons to consider an upgrade. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 packs a speedy Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, along with a 6.7-inch AMOLED main display and a 3.4-inch AMOLED cover display. And for photos and videos, the Z Flip 6 has a 10-megapixel front-facing camera and a dual-camera setup on the back, including a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera. What colors does the Galaxy Z Flip 6 come in?
You can choose from a number of colors, but some options are only available directly from Samsung. Variants that you can find at multiple retailers include silver shadow, yellow, blue, and mint. Crafted black, white, and peach are exclusive to Samsung.
How much does the Galaxy Z Flip 6 cost?
The starting prices for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 in the US, before any trade-ins or rebates, are as follows:

Best Unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 6 Deals
If you pre-order your Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 directly from Samsung, you can get a free storage upgrade. That means you’ll pay just $1,050 for the 512GB model. And if you have an eligible phone to trade in, you can get up to $650 in trade-in value, bringing the price of that same model down to as little as $500.
Additionally, you’ll receive 25% off a pair of Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, the Galaxy Watch Ultra, or the Galaxy Watch 7 when you purchase the Z Flip 6.
Similar to Samsung, Amazon is doubling the storage for free, meaning you can pre-order the 512GB Galaxy Z Flip 6 for just $1,100. What’s more, Amazon is sweetening the deal even further with a bonus $200 gift card with your purchase, effectively saving you $320.
Best Buy is also matching Samsung’s pre-order deal, doubling the storage for free. The phone is also a bit cheaper. You can get the 512GB phone for $1,000.
With your purchase, you’ll also receive a $200 Best Buy gift card and a one-month Xbox Game Pass membership.
And if you trade in an eligible phone, you can get up to $460 in trade-in credit.
Best Galaxy Z Flip 6 Deals with a Carrier
AT&T is doubling the storage on your Z Flip 6 when you preorder it. Plus, the carrier is offering up to $1,100 back with a qualifying trade-in, so you can get this phone for free.
You must opt for or upgrade to an unlimited plan. As for the trade-in offer, the requirements are quite generous. You can trade in any Galaxy S, Note or Z Series smartphone from any year, in any condition or a qualifying smartphone with a trade-in value of $35 or more. Please note that the savings will be paid out over 36 months via monthly repayments.
T-Mobile is also participating in the free storage upgrade. You can pre-order your Z Flip 6 from T-Mobile and get $1,100 back via 24 monthly bill credits when you add a new line to a Go5G Plus or Go5G Next plan. Already a T-Mobile customer? You can also get the same savings when you trade in a qualifying device on the same two plans and get this phone for free.
Eligible devices include the Samsung Galaxy S9 and later, the Note 9 and later, and all Z-series devices, as well as the Apple iPhone 11 and later, the OnePlus 9 Pro 5G and later, the Google Pixel 6 and later, and the Motorola Razr Plus 2023. Some older models may be eligible for up to $550 off.
If you don’t have one of these subscriptions, there are also trade-in offers available where you can get up to $500 off.
Right now, Xfinity Mobile is offering customers up to $800 in savings on a new Galaxy Z Flip 6 phone. To take advantage of the deal, new customers can port their number and get a new line with Xfinity Mobile to get $800 in device credit on their monthly statement. And existing customers can upgrade to a device, getting up to $800 in credit when you trade in your old phone.
But even if you don’t have a device to trade in, you can still get $500 off the device.
Verizon is also offering double the storage on pre-orders, meaning you can get the 512GB version for the same price as the 256GB model would normally cost. Additionally, the carrier is offering up to $800 in savings when you trade in your old phone.
Whether you’re a new customer purchasing a new line of service or an existing customer looking to upgrade, Verizon is currently accepting select phones in every state. However, you must be on the company’s Unlimited Ultimate plan to take advantage of this offer.
