NDB+Toastmasters Shines at Ovation 2024 National Development Bank PLC (NDB) Toastmasters Club emerged as a shining star at the Ovation 2024 conference, the premier event of Toastmasters International. Held in Phoenix, Arizona, the conference brought together over 3,000 attendees from around the globe. NDB Toastmasters members showcased their exceptional communication and leadership skills throughout the conference. Division Director Pubudu Rathnayake delivered an inspiring keynote speech on the power of empathy in leadership. Area Governor Rumesh Samarakoon facilitated a dynamic workshop on “Effective Storytelling.” The club’s members also participated in the World Championship of Public Speaking, where Niranjan Balasuriya, Vice President of Education, represented Sri Lanka. While Balasuriya did not advance to the final rounds, his performance was highly commended by judges. NDB Toastmasters Club President Dumindu Mendis said, “This was a remarkable achievement for our club.
