Following an MRI, he resumed his rehab in Oklahoma City. During the 2023 season, Kershaw made 24 starts for the Los Angeles Dodgers, compiling a 13-5 record with a stellar 2.46 ERA. The three-time Cy Young Award winner is widely regarded as one of the greatest pitchers of his generation. Kershaw’s latest rehab start is an encouraging sign for the Dodgers, who hope to have him back in their starting rotation soon. The veteran pitcher has shown no signs of diminished ability, demonstrating his exceptional command and control on the mound. Clayton Kershaw started for the Oklahoma City Baseball Club on Saturday during a Major League rehab assignment at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City.

The 2020 World Series champion was making his fourth appearance ever with OKC. Kershaw also made rehab starts in 2017, 2019 and 2021. This is his 17th season with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

After undergoing shoulder surgery in the offseason and starting the year on a 60-man injury list, Kershaw made his first rehab assignment at Rancho Cucamonga on June 19. He struck out five and allowed one run, one walk and two hits in three innings. Kershaw felt a sore shoulder after the road game, underwent an MRI and resumed his assignment at OKC.

On Saturday, the 10-time MLB All-Star struck out five and allowed no runs, one walk and no hits in three innings. He threw 38 pitches, 23 of which were strikes.

During the 2023 season, Kershaw made 24 starts with the Dodgers, compiling a 13-5 record with a 2.46 ERA over 131.2 innings pitched. The left-handed pitcher is a three-time Cy Young Award winner and 2014 league MVP.
