Lexi Young, a participant in The Bachelorstood out not only for her charm and beauty, but also for her relatability. She openly shared her struggles with endometriosis on the show, which many fans found appealing. Joey Graziadei, her match on the show, supported her health issues, but their different views on marriage and children ultimately led to the end of their relationship.

Despite being a great fit for each other in many ways, Lexi and Joey faced a major hurdle in their future plans. Lexi, who was aware of her condition, prioritized having children as soon as possible, even freezing her eggs just weeks before joining the show. Joey, on the other hand, envisioned a long engagement and postponed plans for children. This fundamental difference in priorities led Lexi to eliminate herself, much to the dismay of many viewers.

Since leaving the show, Lexi has used her platform to raise awareness about endometriosis, and she recently shared an important update on her health journey.

Endometriosis is a condition that affects approximately 10% of women worldwide, according to the World Health Organisation. The severity of symptoms can vary, and Lexi has stage 5, the most severe form. Her condition even put her in the hospital during the filming of The Bachelor.

There is no known cure for endometriosis, making it a persistent struggle for Lexi and many other women. She recently opened up her Instagram DMs to questions from followers, one of whom asked about her current health. According to bachelornation.comLexi admitted that her condition has worsened recently. She said she was “stressed and exhausted” from the ongoing battle with this painful condition. Another major concern for her was the timing of her next surgery.

“I’m seeing my endosurgeon later this week! I’ll continue to share my journey as it’s not the most seamless and easy to navigate being single and in my 30s!”

Despite not finding love with Joey Graziadei, Lexi remains hopeful about her future romantic prospects. She recently shared some dating advice based on her past experiences, advising her followers on what to look for when looking for a partner.

“Find someone who gets excited about the same things you do. Make sure you can be 100% yourself around them. Trust your intuition, it’s always right.”

She also encouraged people to give others a chance, saying: “Some of my best dates have been with people I wasn’t that excited about before I met them. There’s no right person, wrong time. When two people love each other, you can make anything work.”

Some Bachelor Nation fans have suggested that Lexi should date Bachelor in Paradise alumnus Tanner Courtad. It doesn’t seem like she took that advice to heart, though. Would you like to see Lexi Young on BIP when it returns next year? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
