Launched in 2020, the “Regional Employment Offices” aim to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers. To facilitate the transportation of applicants to job interviews, the proposal offers free public transportation support three times a day for four months. The proposal submitted to Parliament outlines the following criteria: * Applicants with a free Istanbulkart or documentation of unemployment must attend a job interview at a regional employment office. * They are eligible for a maximum of four months of free transportation passes (limited to three passes per day and 32 passes per month). * The transportation passes will be issued through the Istanbulkart Portable Application’s QR function.
