On the final lap, Daniel Suarez spun Chase Elliott. After the finish, Elliott ran him over and rubbed his door before giving him a brake check. The two drivers spoke peacefully in the pit lane after the race.
Bubba Wallace also drove into race winner Alex Bowman after the finish. This was in retaliation for an incident earlier in the race.

Two weeks ago, NASCAR driver Carson Hocevar was fined $50,000 after spinning Harrison Burton under caution. NASCAR decided to hand out a hefty fine after the incident at Nashville Superspeedway.
