PS5 Slim – What is it and where can I buy one?

The new PS5 Slim is set to launch in November 2023, slowly but surely replacing the original model on store shelves. The console is – as the name suggests – a slimmer version of the existing PS5, with a 30% volume reduction. It also comes with a slight increase in storage capacity and a detachable drive – you can find out all about it here.
The PS5 Slim with Blu-ray Disc Drive included costs $499.99 / £479.99, while a PS5 Slim Digital Edition costs $449.99 / £389.99. The disc drive alone costs $79.99 / £99.99:
