Susan Sarandon‘s daughter Eva Amurri is married to a chef Ian Hock.
Amurri, 39, an actress and lifestyle blogger, is Sarandon’s daughter and director Franco Amurri. She married Hock in a small ceremony on Saturday, June 29, in New York’s Hudson Valley. (The couple announced their engagement in February 2023.)
“We really wanted to put our little family at the center of it all, and make it as much about the kids as it is about us,” Amurri said. People from her “French Garden Party” themed wedding on Saturday, which was decorated with “chamomile flowers” and had a color scheme of “light green and light blue.”
“We worked with our registrar to create a ceremony that felt super personal and intimate, and then we focused on our second love in life: food! All we really needed was the beautiful atmosphere, our loved ones and a wonderful celebration,” she said.
Amurri also noted that she wanted to keep the ceremony small, with just 40 guests — including Sarandon, 77, and her ex. Tim Robbins.
The Golden Bachelor star Gerry Turner, Lauren Alaina, Usher and more celebrities headed to the chapel and tied the knot in 2024. “We wanted to write our own love letters to each other to read as vows, which was so special to us,” Amurri told the outlet. “We also had no bridal party other than the kids, and it was perfect. Major walked me down the aisle, which was an experience I’ll never forget.”

Amurri shares three children – Marlowe Mae, 9, Major James, 7, and Mateo Antoni, 4 – with ex-husband Kyle Martinowhom she married in 2011. The couple was married for eight years until they split in November 2019.
“Having been to this wedding for my second time, I found it much easier to plan because I learned so much from my first wedding experience and I know myself so well at this point in my life,” she noted.
Amurri also “didn’t hire a wedding planner” for her wedding, opting instead to “create the entire atmosphere of the wedding herself,” which she said was “stressful at times.” She said: ‘The last time I was a bride I didn’t have three children. But overall it felt so special to be able to focus on all the little details and really make our day personal.”
As for her dress, Amurri wore a strapless Kim Kassas gown from Bridal Reflections in New York City. “I love how it has a vintage feel and is ultra feminine without being too posh,” she said. “I wanted to feel sexy but elegant, and I think the dress strikes the perfect balance.”

Later in the evening, she donned a sparkling Kim Kassas minidress that she paired with Nike Air Force Ones. Hock, for his part, wore a navy blue suit from SuitShop, where Amurri’s two sons and mother of the bride Sarandon, who wore a white suit with a colorful floral design, also outfitted.
Amurri gave a sneak peek of her wedding dress in an exclusive interview with her We weekly earlier this month. “It was amazing picking out a dress because I know myself so much better as a woman,” she said Us on June 13. “I felt like this time I had the right to make this wedding sexier than last time.
She added: ‘It’s exactly what I had in mind. It perfectly reflects who I am as a woman today.”
