Key West Ham United Player Linked with Summer DepartureKey West Ham United Player Linked with Summer Departure West Ham United manager Julen Lopetegui is reportedly planning a busy summer transfer window, and one player who could potentially depart the London Stadium is Vladimir Coufal. Coufal’s Time at West Ham Coufal, a 31-year-old Czech defender, has been a regular for the Hammers since joining from Slavia Prague in 2018. Having previously exercised a one-year extension option on his contract in January, Coufal has been linked with a move away from the club due to a reported discontent over a lack of pay increase. Reported Sale Value According to Football Insider, West Ham could sell Coufal for around £6 million in the summer transfer window. If such a deal were to materialize, it would represent a significant profit for the club, which spent £5 million to acquire him four years ago. Reasons for Departure Coufal’s departure is believed to be driven by his desire for a new challenge and the emergence of younger players like Raoul Bellanova as potential replacements. The defender has also been linked with a move to Galatasaray, adding further fuel to the rumors of his imminent exit. Assessment of Coufal’s Performance While Coufal has been a reliable performer for West Ham in the past, his form has declined over the last year. His lack of pace and power has hindered his effectiveness in a top-10 Premier League team. Conclusion If West Ham can secure a £6 million fee for Coufal in the summer, it would be a beneficial outcome for the club. The defender has served the Hammers well during his time in East London, but it is now time for him to move on and for West Ham to rebuild their squad.

A key West Ham United player from recent years could leave the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.

West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui has a hugely important summer transfer window ahead of him and a lot needs to happen if he wants to get us back into the top seven.

The Hammers boss is believed to have secured a highly exciting double deal for Max Kilman and Jonathan David.

Whether West Ham can pull off ambitious deals like these two remains to be seen.

However, in order to generate the resources needed to launch a successful attack in the summer transfer window, Lopetegui will need to let go of some fringe players.

Some first-team regulars may also have to be sacrificed.

And one man is hotly tipped to leave the London Stadium after almost four years at the club.

Club tries to close summer transfer window for West Ham player

Lopetegui will clearly look to move a number of players this summer to supplement his £90 million budget this summer.

Numerous players have been linked with a move away from the London Stadium as Lopetegui eyes a major rebuild.

There are plenty of players at the club right now who didn’t contribute enough last season, and they can certainly improve.

However, the latest name linked to an exit has performed extremely consistently in recent years.

It has been reported that West Ham could sell Coufal for £6 million (Football Insider), and let’s face it, if we got something like that it would be a good thing for us.

The 31-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the London Stadium, with the likes of Raoul Bellanova being mentioned as a potential replacement for him.

Coufal has already been immediately linked with a move to Galatasaray this summer, so this could be a bit of a challenge.

In January, the Hammers exercised a one-year extension option on the Czech international’s contract, something the player was said to be unhappy about as he felt he deserved a pay rise.

The former Slavia Prague man has gone downhill over the last year and in my opinion he doesn’t have the pace or power required to play for a top 10 Premier League team.

Vladimir Coufal has been a very good player for the Hammers over the last three and a half years, but as far as I’m concerned his time at the London Stadium is now over.

If West Ham manage to sell him for £6m in the summer transfer window, I’ll be more than happy.
