Ahmed will serve as the brand ambassador for the authority’s food safety campaign. The one-year contract was signed at BFSA’s conference hall in Dhaka to further enhance the organization’s outreach and engage the general public. During the event, Ferdous Ahmed emphasized the importance of food safety. “Ensuring food safety requires meticulous efforts, as those who violate it cannot be corrected overnight,” he said. BFSA President Zakaria presided over the signing ceremony, which commenced at 3 pm. Abu Noor Md Shamsuzzaman, a member of the authority, delivered a welcome speech. He expressed optimism that the partnership with Ahmed would enhance the authority’s credibility and visibility. Ahmed initially served as a Goodwill Ambassador for BFSA in the financial year 2023-24. His re-appointment for 2024-25 demonstrates the authority’s confidence in his dedication and influence in promoting food safety awareness. Md Mizanur Rahman, director of the authority, coordinated the event. This partnership between BFSA and Ferdous Ahmed aims to strengthen the authority’s efforts in safeguarding the health and well-being of the Bangladeshi people by ensuring food safety.

Bangladesh Food Safety Authority has signed a contract with Actor MP Ferdous Ahmed from Dhaka-10 constituency for the fiscal year 2024-2025.
The authority has signed a one-year contract at its conference hall in Dhaka to expand its activities and reach out to the general public.
Ferdous said, “Those who commit adultery cannot be corrected in one day. Therefore, the work of food safety must be done more carefully.”
BFSA President Zakaria chaired the event which started at 3pm, a press release said.
Abu Noor Md Shamsuzzaman, a member of the authority, delivered a welcome speech on the occasion. He said: ‘As a result of this agreement, the image of the Safe Food Authority will be brighter for the people of the country.’
Ferdous Ahmed first started as a Goodwill Ambassador of Bangladesh Food Safety Authority in the financial year 2023-24. He has been re-enlisted as a Goodwill Ambassador for the financial year 2024-25.
Md Mizanur Rahman, director of the authority, led the programme.
