Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe…

Jimmy’s Point has been sporadic so apologies. Partly my fault for going to Germany and partly also my fault for having a skirmish over the truth in the local after England’s draw with Denmark.

But the column is back and to recap, we’ve had a few winners, putting us all in the green this summer (don’t worry about the rest of the season).

With a break in the matches I have had the chance to turn all my thoughts into some points for the round of 16.

Center back goalscorers, shots on goal and fouls are all thrown into the mix. To enjoy.

Harry Kane wins mistakes. Only three players (9) have drawn more than his eight this summer.

Support him to win 2+, 3+ and 4+ ERRORS professions. All lines were hit against Serbia and he drew two against Slovenia.

For some extra fun, combine the Slovakian central defender from DENIS VAVRO And MILAN SKRINIAR to commit 1+ ERRORS each works well in a bet builder. If you are greedy, why not take the 11/1 of the pair that commits 2+ ERRORS each.

Of the eight centre-backs who faced Kane at the European Championship, only Dane Andreas Christensen did not commit a single foul in the match, with the others committing a total of 11 fouls (1.4 fouls per centre-back). Jannik Vestergaard (Denmark) and Jaka Bijol (Slovenia) were also both yellow carded against England.

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to talk about set pieces.

Of the 81 goals scored in Germany, 15% came from set pieces, but as the competition heats up we can expect to see more goals.

Denmark have the most set-piece xG, but Spain (the second highest total) will provide the interest in the round of 16 due to their opposition. Georgia top the xG set-piece charts by some distance.

Of the four goals conceded, one came from a set piece (Patrick Schick’s equaliser for the Czech Republic).

Only two of the opposition’s eight central defenders have failed to do so at least one try against Georgia, with an average of 1.1 shots per game and a combined xG of 0.67.

The idea here is to involve Spain’s central defenders in the shot or goalscoring market.

Dani Carvajal nodded at Spain’s only goal from a set piece, but supported ROBIN LE NORMAND TO ALWAYS SCORE at a higher price is more appealing.

He only has five national career goals, but two of them came this season. His one goal for La Roja also came in qualifying in November and you’ll never guess who it was against… Georgia.

Considering he’s the best player in the league, it’s a bit hard to accept KYLIAN MBAPPE has only just scored his first European Championship goal, especially considering he has scored 12 goals in 14 World Cup games, putting him four behind all-time top scorer Miroslav Klose.

It took the masked Frenchman two tournaments, six matches and 23 shots before he converted a penalty against Poland.

Now that he is in the running, can anyone stop him? The bookies don’t seem to think so, as despite being two runs behind, he leads the Golden Boot market at 6/1.

Despite being substituted in France’s opening match with a broken nose and missing their second match, Mbabbe had the second-most SHOTS ON TARGET (6) of all players at the European Championship, and on average the most shots per match (5).

I’ll keep an eye on his goalscorer award in the knockout stages, but here it’s around 13/10 2+ SHOTS ON GOAL we like it.
