Incident 3: * A driver honked their horn after nearly colliding with an older Chevy. * The driver of the Chevy honked back and threatened to “pop” the driver. * The driver noticed the Chevy following him and observed the driver flashing a gun. * The driver managed to drive away and called the police. City police are investigating three separate road rage incidents, all on the same day in Boardman.

Before noon Tuesday, a woman told police that a man driving a black GMC Sierra truck near the Southern Park Mall began honking and yelling at her after she failed to enter an intersection quickly enough after the light along Route had changed. 224.

The woman said she stuck her middle finger at the driver when he pulled up next to her car and continued to yell and honk.

After the truck pulled in front of her car and stopped, the woman said she drove away.

Police say they have traced the truck to a Boardman man who was involved in a similar incident two years ago.

About four hours later, a man driving along Route 224 near West Boulevard told police he was cut off by a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

According to the police report, the driver of the Jeep pulled up next to his car and pointed a revolver while shouting, “If I see you again, I’ll blow your head off.”

After the Jeep drove away, the alleged victim called 9-1-1. The man told police he did not know the suspect and did not know why he pointed the gun. He said this may have been because his car had a ‘Free Palestine’ sticker on it.

The third incident happened Tuesday after 8 p.m. near Midlothian Boulevard and Shirley Road.

A driver says he honked his horn after it nearly collided with an older Chevy.

The man told police that the driver of the Chevy honked back and said, “I’m going to pop you!”

It wasn’t until the driver reached Mathews Road in Boardman that he noticed the Chevy behind him.

The alleged victim told police the Chevy next to his car drove into oncoming traffic and the driver flashed a gun.

The driver managed to drive away and called the police.
