Recycling tires helps to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfills. * Conserves natural resources: Tires are made from petroleum, which is a non-renewable resource. Recycling tires helps to conserve this resource. * Reduces pollution: The process of manufacturing new tires creates air pollution and water pollution. Recycling tires helps to reduce these emissions. * Creates jobs: The tire recycling industry creates jobs in the United States. By recycling our old tires, we can help protect the environment and create a more sustainable future for Memphis.
